21 ships discharging petroleum products, other commodities at Lagos ports: NPA

He said 13 ships had arrived at the ports and waiting to berth.

Twenty one ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at the Apapa Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Saturday.

NPA explained that the ships were discharging crude oil, raw crude oil, available fuel, buck wheat, pallets, general cargo, containers, fresh fish, bulk urea, salt and bulk gypsum.

31 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive in Lagos ports between January 24 and January 29.

NPA said that the expected ships would bring general cargoes, gypsum, bulk oil, bulk urea, crude oil , bulk gas, gasoline, bulk fertiliser, buck wheat, and containers of different good.

It said 13 ships had arrived at the ports and waiting to berth with bulk urea, crude oil, empty containers, fresh fish, alkaline, containers, general cargo and base oil.
