36 vessels expected at Lagos ports, NPA says

The NPA said the vessels are expected between August 10 and August 20.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 36 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island port in Lagos on Monday.

The NPA disclosed this on its Daily Shipping Position, adding that the vessels are expected from August 10 till August 20.

It stated that 11 of the expected ships contain different goods, while 25 others are carrying bulk urea, petrol, general cargo, bulk pallets, diesel, crude oil, bulk urea, bulk wheat, bulk gas, bulk gypsum and sugar.

The NPA noted that four ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports waiting to berth with bulk wheat, bulk fertiliser, crude oil and petrol.

It also stated that 18 ships are presently discharging bulk fertiliser, bulk gypsum, crude, soya beans, and general cargo, among others at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa, and Tincan Island port.
