3SC edge Plateau United 1-0 to extend winning streak

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Oyo State, on Sunday defeated Plateau United FC 1–0, extending their winning run to three consecutive matches.
3SC earlier defeated Kun Khalifat FC 2–1 on matchday five in Ibadan, claiming their first NPFL victory this season.
The Oluyole Warriors also earned a second straight win by beating Warri Wolves 2–1 on matchday six in an impressive away performance.
3SC fought back with two late goals from Qamar Adegoke and Adams Mustapha, overturning Igbunu Evwierhurhoma’s opener for Warri Wolves in the encounter.
On matchday seven at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Ibadan, 3SC secured maximum points after a tense 90-minute battle and added time.
Ayodele Ismail found space in the 76th minute, but Plateau United’s defence intervened to prevent an opener for the hosts.
He later struck in the 94th minute, sealing a dramatic late winner and ending Plateau United’s hopes of earning a point.
3SC now sit fifth on the league table with 11 points from seven matches.
