Liverpool accept Bayern Munich’s £35 million offer for Sadio Mane

English Premier league side Liverpool have agreed to sell Senegalese star Sadio Mane to German giant Bayern Munich for £35m.
“Bayern will pay an initial £27.5m with a further £5m based on appearance,” Sky Sports reported on Friday. “The Bundesliga club will pay another £2.5m based on individual and team achievements.”
Report of Mane’s imminent exit from Liverpool came barely hours after Real Madrid defeated the Reds in the UEFA Champions League final in May.
Reacting to development, former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher tweeted: “My favourite @LFC player of this era, Sadio Mane finally departs low maintenance high performance & never injured! Trophies & goals galore, a true Liverpool Legend. Thank you Sadio.”
Mane, 30, joined Liverpool in 2016 from Southampton, winning the Premier League, Champions League, Club World Cup, Super Cup, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
