OsunDecides: PDP guber candidate Adeleke jumps queue to cast vote

Ademola Adeleke, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun, jumped a queue of hundreds of voters to cast his vote in the ongoing exercise.
Mr Adeleke’s polling unit at Ward 2, Ede North, began voters accreditation some minutes past 8:00 a.m., with hundreds of voters already waiting for their turn.
Peoples Gazette reports that the governorship candidate arrived much later and proceeded for his accreditation and voting immediately.
Some aged men and women in the queue described Mr Adeleke’s action as disrespectful and an “abuse of the power he has not gotten yet.”
“At least he should greet us before thumbprinting. Some of us have been here since 7:00 a.m. He just pushed us back and went to cast his vote. The behaviour is not good,” Semiu Adeniji, an octogenarian, said.
