Marauding gunmen have yet again killed a father, his son, alongside three others in separate attacks in some Kaduna villages on Saturday.

Dan’Azumi Musa, a farmer, and his son, Sanusi, were gruesomely murdered by the Bandits during the early morning invasion of Baka village in Igabi Local Government Area.

The duo had reportedly resisted attempts to abduct them thereby drawing the ire of the killers who shot them for daring.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident to reporters on Saturday in Kaduna.

Mr. Aruwan also disclosed that armed bandits attacked a commercial vehicle along Yakwo village in Chikun LGA killing three commuters.

The statement noted that the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai expressed sadness over the attacks and condoled the family of the slain father, son and commuters by bandits.

The recent upsurge of banditry activities has led to the deaths of dozens of residents across communities in Kaduna as the brigands continue to launch deadly attacks.
