Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has launched a digital campaign asking Nigerians to support him in raising N5 billion for his 2023 election bid.
This was announced on Tuesday by the deputy director of Special Media Projects/New Media of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bashir Ahmad.
“Our candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima call on all Nigerians to join them as they shape the next chapter of our history.
“Donate to Tinubu/Shettima campaign today and help actualize the vision for our great country. Thank you!” Mr Bashir tweeted.
Close to N19 million had been donated to the platform as at press time, with the donors including Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Mr Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima; former Kogi State governor Audu Abubakar among several others.
