Naira loses again, exchanges at N450.58 to $1

The naira on Wednesday exchanged at N450.58 to $1 at the Investors and Exporters window.

The naira on Wednesday exchanged at N450.58 to $1 at the Investors and Exporters window.

The figure represents a depreciation of 0.94 per cent, compared with N446.38 it exchanged on Tuesday.

The open indicative rate closed at 447.92 to the dollar on Wednesday.

An exchange rate of N452 to $1 was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N450.58.

The naira sold for as low as N426 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

On Wednesday, at the official Investors and Exporters window, N141.92 million was traded.
