ADP promises to take Nigeria to promised land

Yabagi Sani, Action Democratic Party (ADP) national chairman, says the party is on a mission to take Nigeria to the promised land and make life better for all Nigerians.
“We believe that our party is the party to take this country to the promised land, and it is the party to fulfil the aspirations of Nigerians. You know Nigerians, they are gifted,” said the ADP chair. “Give us a chance anywhere in the world, we will be at the top.”
He said this at a forum organised by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
“The ADP came on board in June 2017 as a child of necessity because we realised that at the time of its birth, the country’s political space was experiencing imminent collapse,” said Mr Sani. “At that time, the other political parties were in disarray and had factions and were not showing capacity, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).”
The ADP national chair stressed “that was why some of us came together under my leadership that we should approach the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) so that a credible alternative party can be created for Nigerians.”
He explained that since INEC approved ADP, “we have been recording a lot of successes in terms of deepening democracy and giving Nigerians hope.”
According to him, while other political parties were in disarray, battling internal crises, the ADP remains a united front and a party sent by God to save the country and take it to the promised land.
Mr Sani said the ADP was the party that would fulfil the aspirations of Nigerians, adding that Nigerians were gifted and the best anywhere in the world if given the opportunity.
He claimed Nigeria is one of the most favoured countries in the world by God in terms of natural endowment, human capital resources and economy any country could aspire to have.
According to him, despite the country’s challenges, it plays big on the African continent and the world, politically, socially and economically.
Mr Sani added that it was unfortunate that despite her endowment, the country is in the hands of people who do not seem to understand the essence of political power. He assured that if elected as the country’s next president, his administration would ensure a paradigm shift from the current reality and make the country a better place for all Nigerians.
