Anthony Joshua eyes Fury, Wilder for next fight

After a comeback fight victory against Jermaine Franklin on Saturday, former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua says he looks forward to fighting against Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder.
Joshua won Franklin in a unanimous decision scores of 118-111 and 117-111 (twice) at the O2 Arena, London, his first victory after two consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
It was Joshua’s first fight without a world title attached in the past seven years.
“Tyson ‘Gipsy King’ Fury or Deontay Wilder,” Joshua replied when asked who he would be fight next in a post-fight interview on Saturday.
Joshua handed Franklin his second career defeat. Before Saturday’s fight Franklin, 29, American boxer, holds an impressive 21-1 record.
Joshua, before now, between 2016 and 2018, held unified the WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles.
A fight between Joshua and Fury would see two Brits slug it out punch for punch in the ring.
Fury, 35, is WBC heavyweight champion with a record of 32 wins and one draw in 33 career fights since turning professional in 2008.
Wilder, 37, America profession boxer formerly held WBC heavyweight title from 2015 to 2020 before he was defeated by Fury.
