Ex-labour minister Musa Gwadabe dies at 86

A former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Musa Gwadabe, has died after a protracted illness.
Mr Gwadabe died on Tuesday night in Kano at 86.
A relation of the late elder statesman, Nasiru Gwadabe, announced that his funeral prayer was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at his residence, off Maiduguri Road, Kano.
Mr Gwadabe was a minister during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s first tenure from 1999 to 2003 and was also Secretary to Kano State Government during the administration of the late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and a member of several boards.
Until his death, he was an All Progressives Congress (APC) member and the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) board chairman.
He is survived by his children, great-grandchildren, and relatives.
