I already ordered U.S. forces to destroy Iran if I’m assassinated: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he already gave an order that Iran should be massively bombed into complete ruin should the Islamic Republic carry out their threat to assassinate him.
In a post on Truth Social on Friday, Mr Trump said the U.S. military have stockpiles of missiles amd ready to destroy Iran completely should he be assassinated.
Mr Trump stated, “1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!.”
He added, “Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran.”
Mr Trump’s statement followed Israel’s intelligence revealing Iran’s plot to assassinate the American president.
The intelligence exposing Iran’s plot comes years after the Iranian authorities publicly vowed to avenge a top general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Qassem Soleimani, assasinated during Mr Trump’s first term.
Also, during the burial of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a former supreme leader of Iran, killed during the U.S.-Israel Operation Epic Fury on February 28, mourners displayed banners inscribed with a death threat to Mr Trump.
“Trump we will kill you,” the inscriptions on some of the banners read.
Meanwhile, U.S. forces have resumed bombing Iran amid a failed ceasefire agreement.
Crisis erupted after the U.S.-Israeli forces killed Mr Khamenei and about 40 top Iranian officials.
