NPFL: Rangers FC inaugurates 11-man recruitment committee

The management of Rangers International FC of Enugu has inaugurated an 11-man committee to recruit quality players for the 2023/ 2024 league season.
This is contained in a statement by the club’s spokesperson, Norbert Okolie, in Enugu on Saturday.
The committee, led by Christian Chukwu, was inaugurated on Friday after a brief ceremony at the club corporate office, G.R.A, Enugu.
According to Okolie, the committee members include Christian Chukwu, chairman; Obiora Obuna, legal officer/secretary; Patrick Nworji, scouting director; Fidelis Ilechukwu, technical adviser; and Emeka Onaga, team psychologist/coordinator.
Others include Edwin Obodo, head of finance; Uchenna Orji, supporters club chairman; Tony Ugwu, FA chairman; Wen Udeoji, club team doctor; Ferdinand Ugwuarua, club administrative secretary; and Norbert Okolie, media and communication officer.
According to the statement, the administrative secretary, Ferdinand Ugwuarua, challenged the committee members in his opening remarks to make their best contributions to ensure the best legs and hands were recruited.
He thanked the members for accepting to serve and noted that the committee remains one of the club’s policies to help get quality players.
The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Chris Mbah, charged the committee members to come up with the best required services.
The committee chairman urged members to develop ideas to help get the best footballers around to make the job of the technical adviser and his subordinates easier.
The new and old players of the team are expected to be back in camp on July 14 to start preparation for the upcoming season.
