Senate begins screening Tinubu’s ministerial nominees

Sixteen of the nominees were listed for screening on Monday in Abuja.

The Senate has begun screening and confirming ministerial nominees, presented by President Bola Tinubu for consideration and confirmation.

Sixteen of the nominees were listed for screening on Monday in Abuja.

The nominees listed are Abubakar Kyari (Borno), Abubakar Momoh – (Edo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Joseph Utsev – (Benue), John Enoh (Cross River), Bello Muhammad (Sokoto State), Mohammed Abubakar – (Jigawa), and Yusuf Maitama (Bauchi State).

Others are. Abubakar Danladi (Taraba), Uju-Ken Ohaneye (Anambra), Olubunmi Tunji Ojo (Ondo State), Betta Edu (Cross River), Imaan Sulaiman (Nasarawa State), Ahmed Musa-Dangiwa (Katsina State), Uche Geoffrey-Nnaji (Enugu State), and Stella Okotete (Delta).

The Senate had suspended its rule to allow the nominees and visitors into the chamber earlier.
