Claudette, the sister to Celine Dion, in a recent interview, said the award-winning singer is encountering difficulties in finding effective medications for her condition but remains steadfast in her pursuit of recovery.

While seeking an effective treatment continues, Claudette expressed optimism, saying, “We trust her. It’s innate to her; she’s disciplined in every area of her life… We can’t find any medicine that works, but having hope is important.”

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer, aged 55, has been facing the challenges of a rare neurological disorder at her $1.2 million Las Vegas mansion, where she resides with her three sons, René-Charles, Eddy, and Nelson.

Her sister revealed during a televised appearance on Le Journal de Montreal last month that their sister Linda has moved in to provide support for the iconic singer.

“When I call her, and she’s busy, I speak to my sister Linda who lives with her and tells me that she’s working hard. She’s listening to the top researchers in the field of this rare disease as much as possible,” said Claudette.

Highlighting Celine Dion’s determination and work ethic, Claudette emphasised the significance of allowing her to rest.

The Canadian singer’s health struggles came to light in October 2021, leading to the postponement of her Las Vegas shows. Subsequently, she cancelled the North American leg of her Courage world tour in January 2022.

Despite her health challenges, the singer continues to contribute to the world of music, penning songs for the rom-com “Love Again,” where her tracks have taken centre stage, and she made a brief appearance as herself.
