U.S. TV presenter Terrence J, Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro to host 2023 Headies
American TV presenter and actor Terrence J and Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro have been announced as hosts of the 2023 Headies Awards.
The awards organisers announced this in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The 16th edition of the award will be held at Cobb Energy Centre, Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States, on September 3.
The event will see intriguing performances from Asake, Young John, Seyi Vibez, Oxlade, Fireboy, and Johnny Drille.
The Headies, formerly The Hip Hop World Awards, debuted in 2006 and has become one of the most anticipated annual Nigerian entertainment events. It is reputable for recognising the milestones that the Nigerian music industry has achieved in a year.
It is also Africa’s convergence of Afrobeats stars in the world.
Since its inception, it has focused mainly on acknowledging artistes with genuine music talents and grooves that have set landmarks in the music industry.
