The Israeli military said on Wednesday it had killed one of the leading weapons developers from the Islamist Hamas group in an airstrike on Gaza.

Muhsin Abu Sina was reportedly an expert in the development of rockets for the extremist group.

Despite the aerial bombardment of Gaza and Israel’s ground offensive, which followed Hamas’ massacre of 1,400 mainly civilians in Israel on October 7, Palestinian militants have continued to fire rockets at Israel.

Israeli forces also said they killed several militants in the Gaza Strip overnight who “planned to fire anti-tank missiles at the forces.

“The troops directed an aircraft that struck the cell and killed several terrorists,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

Another group responsible for firing rockets at Israel was killed in a separate airstrike, the IDF said.
