Kaduna: Police commissioner visits Emir of Zazzau, seeks collaboration against bandits
On Thursday, the police commissioner in Kaduna, Audu Dabigi, paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamalli.
The commissioner, who assumed duty at the command on December 6, said the familiarisation visit was to seek the ruler’s blessings and more collaboration from the traditional institution.
Mr Dabigi assured the emirate and the Kaduna people that the command was reviewing its operational strategies to tackle crimes.
He thanked the emir for his untiring support to the Kaduna police command.
In his response, the emir begged the police to deploy more personnel at strategic locations to check the activities of criminal elements around Zaria and its environs.
He assured the police commissioner of the emirate’s support in discharging his duty.
