Abdulrazaq mourns Kwara ex-deputy governor Kisira

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara has expressed sadness over the death of Peter Kisira, a former deputy governor of the state.
This is contained in a statement by the governor’s chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Saturday in Ilorin.
Mr Kisira died in the early hours of Saturday at 74.
The statement said the deceased would be remembered for his life of commendable public service and dedication to good causes.
“On behalf of the people and government of the state, Governor Abdulrazaq sends his heartfelt condolences to the people of Baruten and the family of Elder Kisira,” it said.
The governor urged them to take solace in the ‘fine legacies’ left behind by the deceased as a public servant and bureaucrat who became permanent secretary in the state’s civil service.
He prayed to God to receive the soul of the former deputy governor and look after the family that he left behind.
