Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation, in collaboration with officials of the Kick Against Indiscipline, have arrested six people for defecating on the pedestrian bridge in Iyana-Ipaja.

The commissioner for environment and water resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on his official X handle on Saturday.

Sharing two videos of the exercise by the officials, one of which saw the evacuation of faeces from the bridge, the commissioner stated that the bridge has now been disinfected.

He wrote, “During the clean-up exercise of the Iyana Ipaja pedestrian bridge this morning, 6 miscreants defecating on the bridge were arrested.

“The bridge has now been cleaned and disinfected by the officials of Lagos State Environmental Health Officers
