England forward, Cole Palmer, has won the Hublot Premier League’s Young Player of the Season award for the 2023/24 season.

The Chelsea star won the award ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and William Saliba, as well as Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie.

The youngster now becomes the first Chelsea player to win the award since its inception in the 2019/20 season.

The 22-year-old left the blue side of Manchester to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side at the start of the season, in search of regular playing time.

He had an outstanding debut campaign, notching up over 22 goals and 10 assists in 33 league appearances (ahead of Chelsea’s last match of the season on Sunday) ranking him currently the second in the race to win the EPL golden boot, behind Haaland.

Palmer is the third ever EPL player to reach over 30 goal involvements in a season at age 21 or below, after Robbie Fowler and Chris Sutton.
