Nigerian Army announces burial plans for Attahiru, six others
The Nigerian Army has announced the burial arrangement for the fallen Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Late Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and 6 other senior officers who died in a fatal plane crash in Kaduna on Friday.
Mr Attahiru and six other deceased from the army would be buried on Saturday in Abuja.
Army spokesman Mohammed Yerima said the event would commence at the National Mosque and National Christian Centre, Abuja by 10am respectively.
Mr Yerima said that the interment for the late COAS and six other senior officers would take place at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja by 1:00 p.m.
