Aiyedatiwa tasks aides to mobilise one million votes for Tinubu in 2027

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has tasked his political appointees to mobilise one million votes for President Bola Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Mr Aiyedatiwa made the call while addressing his senior special assistants and special assistants on Friday, urging them to intensify grassroots mobilisation across the state’s 18 local government areas.
The governor tasked the appointees with securing at least one million votes for Mr Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027.
He further instructed them to monitor ongoing government projects in their respective communities and report challenges affecting their implementation.
The movement is aimed at strengthening the APC’s grassroots presence and consolidating support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The state APC Chairman, Kolawole Babatunde, who spoke at the event, expressed confidence that the party would campaign on the achievements of the Tinubu-led federal government and the Aiyedatiwa administration.
