NDA announces resumption date for new cadets of 76 regular course
The Nigerian Defence Academy has fixed August 26 for the resumption of new cadets of 76 Regular Combatant Course.
NDA’s Mohammed Maidawa announced this in a statement on Thursday.
Mr Maidawa said there should be strict adherence to the resumption date.
He said, “NDA wishes to inform the public of an important update regarding the resumption date for the successful candidates admitted into the 76 Regular Combatant Course.
“In a previous notification, it was stated that the resumption dates for 76 RC were from August 24 to 26. The academy will like to state that the reviewed resumption day is Aug. 26 unfailingly. This is to allow the new cadets ample time to plan their journeys.”
Mr Maidawa, therefore, said all the successful candidates are expected to report at the NDA Ribadu Campus (old site) between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, pointing out that “failure to report on the stated date will result in the immediate substitution of the candidate with a reserve candidate.”
Mr Maidawa said only candidates with genuine reasons, supported by evidence, for their inability to report on the published date would be considered for admission.
The statement added, “All other candidates who fail to report on August 26 will forfeit their admission.”
