Over 100 persons are pursuing legal action against the rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, over alleged sexual assault, rape, and sexual exploitation, according to a Texas attorney.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the plaintiffs, stated that among the alleged victims are minors as young as nine years old.

“This is a critical issue that we intend to pursue with utmost diligence,” Mr Buzbee said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Buzbee, who is authorised to practice law in both Texas and New York, said that he represents a total of 120 alleged victims, evenly split between men and women – 25 of these individuals are minors.

He said his team would “leave no stone unturned” in identifying any individuals or organisations potentially liable for the alleged abuses and those who may have participated in or benefited from such conduct.

The lawsuit represents the first occasion on which Combs has been accused of sexually abusing minors. It adds to the mounting allegations against the rapper in recent times.

Last week, Combs was arrested and now faces criminal charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking. He remains in federal custody after being denied bail, a decision his legal team is contesting.

Combs has categorically denied all accusations of criminal wrongdoing.

The allegations span from 1991, with incidents reportedly occurring in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, predominantly after 2015.

Many plaintiffs claim they were victims of date rape following parties hosted by Mr Combs at various prominent venues, private residences, and hotels.
