Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece to win his 19th Grand Slam title and second French Open title on Sunday.

The top seeded Djokovic came back from two sets down to overcome fifth seeded Tsitsipas 6-7 (6-8) 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-4, BBC reports.

Although Tsitsipas dominated the encounter till the beginning of the third set, he couldn’t withstand the fire power of Djokovic who denied him victory in his first Grand Slam final.

The victory also makes Djokovic the first man to win all four Grand Slams twice since 1968 with his last win at Roland Garros being in 2016.

Djokovic now needs one more major title victory to tie Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer who jointly have 20 title wins. He will have the opportunity to do so when he defends his Wimbledon title later this month.
