NDLEA gets new commander in Osun

The outgoing commander, Mr Nnadi, assumed duty in Osun on February 13, 2022.

The new commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Osun command, Adetula Lawal, assumed duty in the state on Friday.

A statement issued in Osogbo by the spokesman of the command, Charles Odigie, said that Mr Lawal took over from commander Chidi Nnadi, who has been posted to Abia.

Mr Charles said that the new commander, before his appointment, served as the head of operations at Tincan Island Port, Lagos.

“He hails from Owo in Ondo state,” he said.

The outgoing commander, Mr Nnadi, assumed duty in Osun on February 13, 2022.

During his tenure, the command effected the arrest of 645 drug suspects and secured 117 convictions.
