American rapper A$AP Rocky and singer-turned-beauty mogul Rihanna have confirmed they expect baby number three at the 2025 Met Gala.

The Barbadian singer made a stunning entrance, showing her new baby bump, embracing the night’s Black dandy theme in a fitted grey Miu Miu blouse and skirt, paired with matching knee-high boots, a fur stole, and a black cloche hat.

The confirmation came before her arrival on the carpet, with photographer Miles Diggs capturing her in a portrait shared to Instagram.

A$AP Rocky, who served as one of the evening’s co-chairs, later confirmed the news to reporters at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as they offered their congratulations.

“It was time to show the people what we’ve been cooking up,” he said. “Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, because we’re definitely happy.”

After all the other guests had made their way in, Rihanna hit the red carpet in a second bold look showing a deconstructed black outfit with a cropped jacket, polka dot accessories, a wide-brimmed hat, and her growing bump on full display.

The Hollywood power couple already share two sons,  RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023. Rihanna famously revealed her second pregnancy in the middle of her 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance and followed up with a Met Gala appearance that same year.

Rihanna has now joined a growing list of women who have made Met Gala baby bump moments a trend, including Serena Williams in 2023, model Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively and Kim Kardashian.
