Game 4 of the NBA Finals series came down to the wire as the Milwaukee Bucks earned a tough win over the Phoenix Suns to even the series at home.

After winning comfortably over the Suns in game 3, the Bucks were back home again for game 4, and as expected, the Suns came out with a lot more urgency to start. Coming off a disappointing 10 point performance, Devin Booker set the tone for what eventually lead to a 42 point performance for the all star.

The Suns lead at the end of the first quarter by three points but the competitive, back and forth, action was tied at 52 a piece by half time. The Suns turned it up in the 3rd quarter, behind a relentless effort by Booker. He wasn’t helped at all by Chris Paul who was locked down defensively by Jrue Holiday all game and only managed to score 10 points and got seven assists.

Kris Middleton had a solid game and he and Giannis Antetokounpo took over the game down the stretch in the 4th quarter and with the Bucks up two with 1:20 to go, Booker drove down the lane and threw an alley-op to DeAndre Ayton for what looked to be an easy lob. Giannis went up with him however and blocked the shot in what looks like the best play of the entire series so far.

The block all but sealed the game as the Bucks went on to score on the next possession, ultimately finishing the game with a couple of free throws by Middleton. He ended the game with 40 points and six rebounds while Giannis had 26 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists and two blocks.

The Bucks will now head back down to Phoenix Arizona for game 5 which takes place on Saturday at the Phoenix Suns arena.
