Gov Sani urges corps members to foster unity, national cohesion

Governor Uba Sani has charged members of the National Youth Service Corps to promote unity and integration among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic nationalities.
Mr Sani made the call at the closing ceremony of the orientation course for ‘Batch A Stream II’ in Kaduna on Tuesday.
Mr Sani assured the corps members that the Kaduna government would ensure a secure and conducive environment for them to carry out their assignment.
While congratulating them for their commitment and discipline during the training, the governor urged the agile youths to apply the virtues of diligence, perseverance, industry, and patriotism throughout their service year.
He commended the camp officials for successfully guiding the corps members through the orientation course. The governor also encouraged them to utilise the skills acquired through the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development training to improve their lives.
The coordinator of the scheme in the state, Efeke Dadaza, commended the corps members for their exemplary conduct and advised them to sustain the good record throughout the service year and beyond.
She urged them to respect the culture and traditions of their host communities and identify areas of need to mobilise the communities to overcome such challenges.
