Kaduna State will host the North-West zonal public hearing on the ongoing review of the 1999 Constitution on Saturday.
This is contained in a statement on Friday by the governor’s chief press secretary, Ibraheem Musa.
According to him, the hearing is organised by the House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review and will take place at the Conference Hall of Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kawo.
Delegates from Kano, Jigawa, and Katsina States are expected to attend and make presentations.
Mr Musa further said Governor Uba Sani will be the chief host and deliver the opening remarks, while the speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman, will speak on behalf of the state.
He called on professional bodies, civil society organisations, labour unions, and members of the public to participate actively and contribute to the process.
