INEC begins media accreditation for Anambra guber poll

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced online accreditation for journalists and media organisations intending to cover the November 8 Anambra governorship election.
INEC disclosed this in a statement by the commission’s secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, on Monday in Abuja.
Ms Oriaran-Anthony called on interested media organisations wishing to deploy journalists for election coverage to apply via https://imap.inecnigeria.org, adding that the portal, which opened on Monday, would close on October 24.
She added that late submission would not be entertained, as the portal would shut down automatically at 12 midnight on October 24.
