SSS seeks security partnership with army in Kaduna

The State Security Service, on Monday, sought a partnership with the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army in Kaduna to strengthen national security.
SSS director Hakeem Abiola paid a courtesy visit to the general officer commanding 1 Division, Abubakar Wase, in Kaduna.
Mr Abiola congratulated the GOC on his appointment, stressing that the visit aimed to build synergy with the Division in tackling insurgency and banditry within its area of responsibility.
Responding, Wase reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s non-kinetic approach, which emphasises collaboration with sister services and other security agencies to maintain peace and security.
He added that the division would continue working with the state government to ensure a secure and peaceful atmosphere in Kaduna.
