Amotekun nabs three suspected burglars at popular Osun marlet

The Western Nigeria Security Network (Amotekun Corps) in Osun State has apprehended three suspects in connection with a series of alleged burglaries at the popular Atakumosa Market.
This is contained in a statement issued by Yusuf Abass, the Public Relations Officer of the corps, on Thursday in Osogbo.
The statement said that the three suspects, aged between 18 and 22, were arrested by operatives of the security outfit following a tip-off.
According to Mr Abass, the suspect was nabbed while committing the crime.
He said that the suspects later led personnel of the Amotekun corps to their hideout, where various stolen items, including electronics, household utensils, building materials, provisions, and beverages, were found.
Mr Abass reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to the security of lives and property of residents in the state.
He urged residents across the state to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to the nearest Amotekun command or relevant security agencies.
