Landlord in court to recover house, N325,000 rent from tenant
A landlord, Abbas Abdulrahim, on Monday prayed an Upper Customary court in Kaduna State to recover his house from Lawal Saleh, a tenant.
The complainant’s lawyer, Kehinde Oyeniran, also prayed the court to recover nine months’ rent arrears of N325,000 for her client.
She said, “We want the defendant to vacate the premises at No. 20 Nuhu Bamalli close off Governor Road.’’
The defendant was however not in court after being served with a substituted service.
The Judge, Patience Musa, adjourned the matter until October 2 for hearing.
