The Kwara Commissioner for Health, Amina El-Aimam, has moved the 2025 medical and surgical outreach from Oke-Ode to Omupo.

In a statement on Sunday, the commissioner said the outreach is part of government efforts to deliver quality healthcare services across the state.

She announced the programme will commence on October 14, 2025, at Omupo Cottage Hospital.

Ms El-Imam explained that the relocation followed a review of security concerns and aimed to ensure wider accessibility and improved service delivery.

“The programme will provide free medical consultations, surgeries, and other essential services to enhance residents’ well-being,” she said.

The commissioner urged residents of Ifelodun and neighbouring communities to take advantage of the health intervention.

She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding and prioritising the people’s health.
