Adeleke: Imole campaign promises Tinubu 1.5 million votes in Osun
The Imole Campaign Council has promised President Bola Tinubu 1.5 million votes to support his 2027 re-election bid, as they welcomed Governor Ademola Adeleke’s appointment as the Osun State coordinator for the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council.
The director-general of the Imole Campaign Council, Olalere Oyewumi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday by Mr Adeleke’s special assistant on digital media, Olalekan Badmus.
Mr Oyewumi said, “The Imole Campaign Council welcomes the appointment of Governor Adeleke as state coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.
“The appointment is a well-deserved one. We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the presidential election will not be misplaced. We promise the president, just like Governor Adeleke had said some time ago, that we will deliver 1.5million votes to ensure his victory in the coming presidential election.”
The group urged the people of the state to keep trusting and supporting Mr Adeleke as he continues to deliver on his campaign promises, noting that “a vote for President Tinubu is a support for Governor Adeleke”.
