TETFund hosts town hall meeting to deepen public engagement

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund says it has concluded plans to host a national town-hall meeting aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement in tertiary education sector.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday. It said that the event scheduled to hold on Wednesday in Abuja, would be chaired by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, TETFund, Alhaji Aminu Masari.
He said that the meeting would provide an avenue for open dialogue between TETFund and key education stakeholders.
According to him, the meeting will also highlight the Fund’s achievements and impact on Nigeria’s tertiary education landscape.
”This initiative underscores TETFund’s commitment to accountability and inclusiveness in the discharge of its mandate.
”This town-hall meeting will serve as an important platform to bridge the gap between TETFund and the Nigerian public, ensuring that our mandate and interventions are better understood and appreciated nationwide,” it stated.
The agency added that the meeting would feature two keynote presentations from leading education experts.
It said that expected participants include policymakers, academics, civil society representatives, students, and members of the general public.
“The interactive sessions will allow attendees to engage directly with TETFund leadership and share suggestions for improving the Fund’s operations and interventions,” it said.
