Osun CP decorates six newly promoted officers

Ibrahim Gotan, the Commissioner of Police, Osun command, on Wednesday, decorated the six newly promoted Superintendents of Police (SP) with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
A statement by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, said the brief decoration ceremony took place at the headquarters in Osogbo.
The newly promoted officers are CSP Idris Balogun – O/C Abere; CSP Mohammed Suleiman – DPO Ikoyi; CSP Bosede Femi – DPO Oja-Oba; CSP Akanmu Gbadebo – DPO Ejigbo; CSP Oladapo Hammed – DPO ‘A’ Ilesa and CSP Ajani Motunrayo – DC Intelligence, SCID Osogbo.
Mr Ojelabi said the commissioner of police commended the officers for their dedication, professionalism and exemplary service to the people of the state.
“The Commissioner of Police charged them to redouble their efforts in the fight against crime and to continue upholding the highest standards of the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
He said Mr Gotan expressed appreciation to the Police Service Commission and the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, for the promotion, stating that it reflects their commitment to rewarding hard work and merit.
He reassured the public of the command’s unwavering resolve to ensure safety and security across the state.
