Uba Sani applauds Tinubu for Masari’s appointment

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Ibrahim Kabir Masari as his Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs.
Mr Sani described the choice as a good one.
The governor made the remark as Special Guest of Honour at Alhaji Ibrahim Masari’s Foundation Cash Empowerment Programme at Malumfashi, Katsina State, on Sunday.
He said that President Tinubu did not just appoint Mr Masari his aide but holds him in very high esteem, adding that his impact his being felt across the country and not only in Katsina State or the North.
He stated, ‘’All over the country, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari’s is reputed to be a good man and the president has told us so himself. We are proud of his sterling qualities. Last year, he made cash donations to some of his constituents. This year, he is doing the same again.”
Mr Sani reiterated that the cash donation to indigent people was aimed to make them self-reliant and boost their businesses, advising beneficiaries to be prudent.
He commended Governor Umar Dikko Radda of Katsina State whom he described as his brother and confidante, for his support to the Ibrahim Masari Foundation.
Earlier, Governor Radda said that Katsina State is blessed for having Alhaji Ibrahim Masari in the corridors of Aso Rock, adding that his presence brought immense benefits to the state.
According to him, Katsina State has benefited from Federal Government’s appointments, contracts and other dividends of democracy “which we thank God for.’’
Governor Radda promised that the All Progressives Congress has come to stay in Katsina State and the people would vote for President Tinubu in 2027.
He added, “We are now going round the local governments and felicitating with the people.’’
He said that the political bigwigs of Katsina State are in the APC and “any politician that you see elsewhere is a noisemaker. We thank the people for their support.’’
In his remarks, the APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, described Mr Masari as not just a politician that operates at the national level but a grassroots politician.
He said that the cash donations that the Ibrahim Masari Foundation gave to his constituents was central to the APC principle of empowerment, adding that ‘’it is the most fundamental thing that we need in the North.’’
According to him, the statistics show that the North is multidimensionally poor, especially the North-West “and the fact that he has gone back home to start with empowerment, he has started solving this problem.’’
The APC national chairman thanked Governor Radda for building a united Katsina State, adding that it would translate to more votes for the party in 2027.
The Alhaji Ibrahim Masari Foundation gave N300,000 each to 1000 business owners in Malumfashi and Kafur local governments, as part of its yearly empowerment programme on Sunday.
Governor Uba Sani, Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and his counterpart in Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, including host Governor Radda witnessed the event.
