CAN confirms release of kidnapped pastor’s daughter in Ibadan

A mother of two, Ibukun Otesile, who was kidnapped on December 4, has been released.
The news of her release was announced in a statement signed by Olamide Olanrewaju, the media aide to the Oyo state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
“This is to announce that Mrs Ibukunoluwa Otesile has been released. She was dropped off at Agbowo Expressway, Ibadan, unhurt, hale and hearty to the glory of God Almighty,” the statement said. “We thank you all for the prayers, and we congratulate the family. She was released yesterday.”
Mrs Otesile was kidnapped around 8:00 p.m. on the penultimate Thursday, in front of her residence, at General Gas, Akobo area.
Mrs Otesile is the daughter of Olalekan Babatunde, founder and general overseer of Jesus Is King Ministries.
