Gani Fawehinmi son Muhammad is dead
Muhammad, son of late human rights lawyer Gani Fawehinmi, is dead.
Mr Fawehinmi died on Wednesday.
He was 52 years old.
Citing a source, Qed.ng reported that “He complained of difficulty in breathing this morning and was taken to the hospital and that was all.”
Vanguard Newspaper also confirmed the development, citing family sources.
Peoples Gazette cannot independently verify this at the moment.
Mr Fawehinmi, a law graduate of University of Buckingham, England, was called to Nigerian bar in 1998.
He had been managing his father’s law firm but was unable to take it to greater heights due to his medical condition.
Mr Fawehinmi had an accident that confined him to wheel chair in 2003.
He remained unmarried saying he preferred not to bother due to his condition.
“I just felt that I shouldn’t bother any woman with my condition.
I didn’t want anybody to marry me out of pity,” he said in a 2018 interview.
