Laos announces national assembly results

Separately, in Vientiane, Laos’ National Election Committee on Monday announced the 175 elected members of the country’s 10th National Assembly following nationwide voting on February 22.
According to local reports, representatives were elected from 18 constituencies.
The newly elected lawmakers will serve in legislative deliberations, socio-economic policymaking, and oversight of state affairs.
Authorities said both central and provincial election committees would publicise the official results nationwide to ensure transparency.
