Accord Party begins e-registration of members

The Accord Party says it has commenced a nationwide e-registration and revalidation of its members.
A statement by its national chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem, on Wednesday in Abuja said that e-registration started on Tuesday.
Mr Mgbudem said that the membership e-registration was in accordance with the new electoral act, which provides for a digital membership register to be used to accredit members for congresses, primaries and conventions in preparation for the 2027 general election.
He urged members of the party, including those in the diaspora and citizens wishing to join, to take advantage of the opportunity to register and obtain their new membership cards.
He advised party members who registered in the previous party platform to also participate in the new registration exercise, as additional information was now required by registering at https://membership.
Mr Mgbudem also said that the party’s national leadership had forwarded guidelines for a seamless e-registration exercise, as time was of the essence.
”Accordingly, ward, local government, state, and zonal executives are urged to mobilise members to participate in an extensive membership drive that will culminate in Accord winning the upcoming elections.
”Nigerians are enjoined to be in one accord as we strive to build a better, greater and just democratic nation,” Mr Mgbudem said.
He described Accord Party as the beautiful bride of Nigerian democracy and the fastest-growing political party in the country.
