Sallah: NAHCON advises Muslims to be disciplined, generous after Ramadan

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has advised Muslim faithful to sustain the virtues of discipline, compassion, unity and generosity cultivated during the month of Ramadan.
NAHCON chairman Ismail Abba gave the advice while felicitating Muslims on Eid-el-Fitri.
“On behalf of the Board, Management and staff of NAHCON, I warmly felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitri.
“Eid-el-Fitri marks the successful completion of the blessed month of Ramadan. Ramadan has been a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, patience and devotion to Allah (SWT).
“As we celebrate this blessed day of Eid, I urge all Muslims to sustain the virtues of discipline, compassion, unity and generosity cultivated during the holy month,” he said.
The NAHCON boss reassured all intending pilgrims for the 2026 hajj that the commission remained fully committed to enhancing the quality of services across all areas, including accommodation, feeding, medical care, and transportation.
“We will enforce strict adherence to international best practices, uphold accountability, and maintain clear timelines to ensure the comfort, safety, and overall well-being of every pilgrim.
“I also wish to commend the dedication and cooperation of our staff, stakeholders, and partners who have continued to support the commission in our preparations for the 2026 Hajj operations,” Mr Abba said.
Mr Abba also announced that all visas had been successfully issued in line with the established timeline.
He said that the pre-arrival stage was scheduled to commence on 1ª Shawwal, 1447 AH.
