Gov Alia inaugurates LG, zonal Renewed Hope Ambassadors
Governor Hyacinth Alia inaugurated local government and zonal Renewed Hope Ambassadors on Wednesday in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid. Mr Alia charged the ambassadors to work tirelessly for the president’s victory and re-election.
The governor, who described the All Progressives Congress as the best political party in Africa, especially in Nigeria, said it was a huge privilege to work for the party.
He said that the president’s love for Benue people cannot be quantified by any adjectives, adding that Benue people would reward him during the coming election.
Mr Alia further urged his supporters not to fight anyone but rather to reconcile with any progressive minds for the continuation of Benue development.
“Your work is to ensure that you bring success to the party. Work for the re-election of President Tinubu and me.
“Work for Tinubu because he is the one behind my success story. I have fixed more than 556 primary and secondary schools and rebuilt healthcare centres.
“There is massive ongoing road infrastructure and improved security. Next will soon fix general hospitals,” he said.
Mr Alia also said that he has declared a state of emergency on all bad roads in the state, adding that all such roads would be rehabilitated.
He congratulated the Benjamin Omale-led state executive council and urged them to carry all party members along.
The Benue coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Terhemen Tarzoor, urged Benue people to re-elect Messrs Tinubu and Alia to sustain the country’s developmental strides beyond 2027.
Mr Tarzoor said that the President has introduced economic reforms, upgraded infrastructure, and improved security, among other measures. He assured that the support groups would deliver 100 per cent of the votes to APC in the 2027 general election.
Also, APC’s women leader in Benue, Helen Agaigbe, expressed happiness for the appointment of many women in the present administration.
Mr Agaigbe further promised to mobilise women across the state to vote for APC candidates in the 2027 general election and appealed for an increase in women’s participation in governance.
