Two suspects nabbed with firearms, charms, drugs in Edo: Police
The police command in Edo says it has arrested two suspected criminals who claimed to be hunters.
The command’s spokesman, Eno Ikoedem, told the Peoples Gazette on Tuesday that alleged criminals were found with guns, bullets, drugs, charms and other exhibits at Iyamho community of the Etsako West council area.
Ms Ikoedem said, “They are in custody. As I speak to you now, the CP has asked that the matter be transferred to the anti-kidnapping unit of the state police headquarters. I’m making a press release on it.”
Police commissioner Monday Agbonika ordered that the case be transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the state police headquarters in Asaba.
