The speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has assured the people of his constituency of more dividends of democracy.

He gave the assurance on Tuesday when members of the Hausa-Fulani communities in the Kokona Local Government Area of the state visited him.

Mr Jatau appreciated them for the visit and his endorsement, assuring them of quality representation at all times.

He promised not to fail his people if elected to the House of Representatives.

Mr Jatau called on them to continue to support Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration and the All Progressives Congress.

The speaker urged them to continue to live in unity and peace with one another for development to thrive.

Earlier, the chairman of the Hausa-Fulani in the Kokona LGA, Bashir Gana, said that the visit was to identify with the speaker for his good leadership.

“We are here to appreciate you for the good work you are doing and to assure you of our support to succeed,” he said.

He acknowledged the support of the speaker for the Hausa-Fulani people in all their affairs, ranging from politics, education, health to religion among others.

Mr Gana reassured him of their support at all times and thanked the speaker for the appointment of their son as special adviser to the governor on ICT.

The group unanimously endorsed the speaker for the House of Representatives for the Keffi/Karu, Kokona federal constituency.
