Housing minister Muttaqa Rabe-Darma inaugurated Grassroots Mobilisation for Tinubu and Dikko in Katsina on Sunday.

The political support group aims to strengthen grassroots backing for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.

The inauguration attracted political stakeholders, youth leaders, women’s groups and supporters of the All Progressives Congress from across the state.

Party loyalists described the gathering as a strategic move to consolidate political structures ahead of future electoral contests.

Addressing supporters, Rabe-Darma said the initiative would strengthen grassroots mobilisation and deepen public confidence in the party’s leadership.

“This platform will unite supporters and expand our political reach across communities,” the housing minister said.

He pledged to work closely with the organisation’s leadership to ensure its objectives were successfully pursued.

Mr Rabe-Darma assured members of his trust, cooperation and readiness to support activities that promote unity and political development. He announced arrangements for the formal opening of the organisation’s state office in the coming weeks.

The minister said the event would attract senior party officials, political associates and influential stakeholders within the APC.

“We are committed to this project and will sustain it with dedication,” Mr Rabe-Darma added.

He urged newly inaugurated officials to remain disciplined, patient and focused on delivering meaningful grassroots mobilisation.

The GMTD chairman, Abubakar Soja-Tsanni, described Mr Rabe-Darma as his foremost political mentor.

Mr Soja-Tsanni praised the minister’s guidance, encouragement and longstanding support throughout his political journey.

“He has always inspired and supported young people with genuine interest,” Mr Soja-Tsanni said.
