Oyo abduction plot by politicians to overthrow Tinubu as they did to Jonathan: Father Mbaka
Catholic priest, Ejike Mbaka, has dismissed the abduction of 46 school children and teachers in Oyo State as a political agenda aimed at provoking Nigerians to kick President Bola Tinubu out of office.
Mr Mbaka, the founder of Adoration Ministries based in Enugu, made this statement in a viral video of one of his recent sermons.
“Governor Makinde wake up. Let Nigerians march to Oyo State. There is a governor there. We should hold Tinubu responsible if he is owing security votes of state,” Mr Mbaka said. “If they want to overthrow Tinubu it is not by kidnapping our chidlren. So that the whole Nigeria will be angry against the president.”
The cleric compared the Oyo abduction to the Chibok girls’ abduction in 2014, saying it was the same political strategy to incite Nigerians to vote against Mr Tinubu in the 2027 election.
“That was what they did against Jonathan. They have started it again. Let Nigerians not be deceived. It is a satanic political agenda. Putting panic in the county so that everybody will say the president should go,” Mr Mbaka said.
Prior to the 2015 presidential election, Mr Mbaka led a campaign for “change,” the APC slogan for the 2015 election, and berated former President Goodluck Jonathan, rechristening him “bad luck.”
“By the grace of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we are announcing spiritually, change! 2015 should not be a year of any hooligan maneuvering to hijack power. This is our New Year message. Listen, when you go home, tell anybody you see that from the oracle of the Holy Spirit, we are announcing change (AMEN). Can somebody help me to shout change (shouts of change by the congregation) in Jesus holy name,” Mr Mbaka said.
He added, “My message is in two branches (folds). Number one branch, the theme of this first message to my fellow countrymen is from good luck to bad luck. Once upon a time, the whole countrymen were crying for a leader who will help us move forward with our economy, have an authentic democracy, give our unemployed youths jobs, enable our power to be steady, who will industrialize Nigerians, who will encourage mass education and agriculturalize Nigeria. Having in view that oil will soon drop, give us security in a maximum level. By the grace of God, there emerged a Goodluck, all of us were happy, the Goodluck met Yar’ Adua and Yar’ Adua died. May the Holy Spirit help me as I utter this message, I know many will misunderstand it, but it will stand the test of time and you will know I’m speaking the truth. The Goodluck met Yar’Adua and Yar’Adua died. Before you know it, the Goodluck met our oil and the oil had a bad luck and poured away, before we knew it, the Goodluck met our naira, our naira had a bad luck. Where are we going? What is the fate of this country? Shall we continue like this, we need change (shout of change from the congregation).”
